Honest limits, no surprise charges
Every plan has the core reports, funnels, segments, and no-code tracking of any button on your site. What you pay for is how much of the analyst's work you get. At your cap, ingestion pauses until the month resets or you upgrade — it never bills you behind your back.

The questions people actually ask
What happens when I hit my event limit?
Ingestion pauses until the period resets or you upgrade. Failed or paused events are never billed — the meter reserves quota per request and releases it if ingestion fails.
What counts as an event?
A page view or a click your visitor makes. Coruve's own measurements — scroll depth, page-speed timings, clicks that hit nothing — are never billed. On a busy interface, don't read 100,000 events as 100,000 pageviews; run the free plan for a week and compare on your own traffic.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your retention window shrinks to the new plan's, and events older than it are deleted — enforced by the database, not hidden behind a paywall. Export to CSV first if you want to keep the history.
Is the free plan a trial?
No — it's a plan. 10,000 events a month, the core reports, segments and suggested goals, forever, no card. It's also the honest way to evaluate Coruve next to whatever you run today.
Can I bring my history from another tool?
Plausible imports are live today — upload your CSV export and your charts don't reset to zero. Imported history is stored separately and always labelled as the source tool's numbers, never merged into Coruve's. GA4 import is built but not switched on — it needs a Google connection we have not finished setting up, so no plan sells it yet.
Do I have to write code to track a button?
No, and not on any plan. Coruve works out which buttons, links and forms people actually use, names each one in plain English, and offers them in a picker wherever a goal, funnel, alert or segment needs one — so making a goal takes three clicks and you never type an event name. Custom events still work if you want them.
