What actually shipped

Release by release. Coruve is in active development — this page tracks real progress, not promises.

  1. The depth release

The largest single update Coruve has shipped. Every Explore view compares itself against the period before. Every ranked row carries its own quality, not just its share. The analyst learned what a Tuesday looks like. And tracking anything on your site is now three clicks and no code.

Your visitor count goes up the day this ships — and nothing else moves

Coruve tells two visitors apart with a hash it rebuilds from scratch every day. That hash now carries a little more of what distinguishes one device from another, so two people who were previously counted as one are counted as two. Visits, sessions, bounce rate, time on page, conversion — none of them change. Only the visitor number, and only once, on the day this ships. Comparisons that straddle that day will show a step in visitors that is us, not you.

    • NewCompare any range with the one before it, on all eleven views — a ghost line on the chart, one Δ column in the table, and a caption naming both windows so you always know what is being compared with what
    • BetterCharts bucket by hour, day, week or month in your project's own timezone, and an unfinished bucket is hatched and labelled “so far” instead of looking like a collapse
    • NewSources, devices, places and assistants carry their own bounce and conversion rates beside the counts — and a row with fewer than thirty visits shows a dash with the reason on it rather than a percentage nobody should trust
    • NewExplain a change: a drawer that names which sources, pages or devices actually moved the number, with the arithmetic shown. On six views; the other five hand the question to Ask
    • NewTop movers on Overview — what rose and fell most against the window before
    • NewOpen any ranked row into its own surface: a second dimension underneath it, a sparkline on every row, and its change against the previous window
    • BetterFilters gained is, is not, contains, does not contain and matches, several values at once, and your saved segments in every panel menu — with a visible refusal instead of a silent empty table when a filter cannot be applied
    • NewNotes on your charts: write down the day you shipped something and it is drawn where it happened. Alerts, imports and deploys leave their own markers, quiet by default
    • NewTwo saved segments compared side by side on Overview — capped at two, because a third line stops being a comparison
    • NewEvents is now the catalogue: every button, link and form people use as a row, with a sparkline, its change, category grouping, and a column showing how often visits containing it also reached your goal
    • NewDevices reads browser against operating system as a matrix, and filters by screen width
    • NewFrustration became an instrument — a trend against your own normal, split by where people came from and what they were using, instead of three lists
    • NewLocations filters by region and city, and the map has four modes; a country with too few visits is hatched rather than quietly greyed out
    • NewMaps (clicks & scroll) splits by device, compares in percentage points, and points at the dead space people scroll past
    • NewWhen your visitors come — a seven-by-twenty-four grid on Overview and Sessions, drawn in your project's clock
    • NewSessions gained session shapes, and entry- and exit-page filters that narrow the view in place
    • NewSite Health draws each vital's spread as a band and breaks it down by page, device and country
    • NewAI Traffic gained an assistant trend, a citation matrix, and crawl → cite → click stated as an order of events rather than dressed up as a funnel with percentages between the steps
    • NewAcquisition states first touch and last touch within a visit, side by side — bounded honestly at the visit, because an anonymous identifier does not survive the day
    • NewAn alert that fired is drawn into the chart tooltip for the day it fired
    • NewThe event catalogue. Coruve works out which buttons, links and forms people actually use, names each one in plain English, and offers them in a single picker across goals, funnels, alerts and segments — a goal on a button is three clicks, and you never type an event name. The funnel builder's free-text box is gone
    • NewRename, define, hide or merge anything in the catalogue. Your wording wins from then on, permanently
    • NewTracker 1.4.0 records form submissions — that one was sent, and how many fields it had — plus outbound hosts, file downloads, contact links, and #anchors as pages if your site really navigates that way
    • PrivacyWhen Coruve gives a button a name, it reads the words on that button once, uses them to write the name, and then forgets them. The words are never stored, never shown in a report and never exported.
    • NewEvery capture switches on and off from Settings ▸ Tracking without touching your snippet, and a data-coruve-ignore attribute on any element keeps it out entirely
    • NewINP — how quickly a page answers a tap — is now the fifth Core Web Vital. It is measured from tracker 1.4.0 onwards, and a site still serving an older snippet is told “not measured” rather than shown a zero
    • NewJourneys rebuilt: real nodes, path-cleaning rules applied when the report is read (so a rule you add today reshapes last month, and deleting it puts it back), top paths, and converters compared over the flow diagram
    • NewBehavioural segments — up to three conditions about what somebody did or did not do — and they reach the read API and CSV like any other segment
    • NewLifetime value by the month of a customer's first payment, with months that are not finished marked as unfinished and no average printed below ten paying customers
    • BetterRetention rebuilt around an honest verdict: where your data cannot answer the question it names the threshold it missed and by how much, instead of drawing an empty grid
    • NewPut a price on a goal and see what it is worth — labelled as your configured value, never presented as measured revenue
    • BetterFunnels take their steps from the catalogue and print both readings side by side: in order, and exact order
    • NewA baseline: what a normal Tuesday at this hour looks like on your site, measured over the same window width you are reading and in your project's timezone. When there is too little history the line is absent rather than guessed
    • BetterThe live feed groups by session, takes filters, and says out loud when it has gone stale rather than showing old numbers as current
    • NewFacets for goals and funnels, live
    • BetterThe baseline is weekday-aware — the same weekday over the last eight weeks — so a quiet Sunday stops being reported as a crash. Every finding prints the method behind it
    • NewTwo new kinds of finding: a trend, which says where the level moved rather than that one day was odd; and a gap between two segments
    • NewFindings carry their own history, and each evidence card states how much evidence is behind it
    • NewAsk answers four more shapes of question: what drove a change, compare two periods, forecast the month, and has this happened before
    • NewIncidents. An alert opens one, freezes the evidence as it stood at that moment, and closes it when the metric comes back — so a week later you can still read what was true when it fired
    • NewA “deviates from what's usual” condition that names which baseline it used and refuses to run until it has enough history
    • NewSimulate a rule against the last thirty days before you save it. It reports what it would have done, and says when a rule would be noisy — it never promises what it will do
    • NewRules with several conditions, notification windows, an edit form, an hourly or daily digest, and Slack buttons on signed links that expire in a week and can only ever acknowledge or mute
    • NewShare links gained a life: pause one and readers see a paused page rather than a dead link; freeze it at a date and it stops moving; give it your own title and logo; print it; embed it on origins you name; or point it at your findings instead of a chart
    • NewScheduled exports — daily, weekly or monthly at 07:00 in your project's own timezone. Never a half-finished period, and a quiet period is recorded as quiet rather than emailed as an empty file
    • NewExport every report your plan includes as one bundle. A big one arrives as a sealed link that works once and expires within a day
    • FixedCSV and JSON exports now honour the filters and the saved segment you are looking at. Until this release they quietly answered the unfiltered question
    • BetterThe read API's roster grew to thirty-five datasets, and it grows only by adding — anything that would break a caller becomes a v2 rather than changing v1 underneath you. A response now says when it ignored a parameter it could not apply, and tells a refusal apart from an honest zero
    • PrivacyRetention, journeys and lifetime value per identified person are built and switched off. They need the next tracker release to be honest, and nothing on your account claims them before it lands
    • PrivacyCoruve still cannot follow an anonymous visitor across a day boundary, and does not pretend to: a funnel window is capped at twenty-four hours and the card says so, and attribution reaches back only as far as the day your site identified the customer
  2. Fairer plans, honest prices

Every plan now sees every report — what you pay for is how much of the analyst's work you get. Plus revenue attribution, a clearer checkout, and fixes across every public form.

    • NewJourneys, segmentation, and suggested goals on every plan — including Free; plans now differ by analyst depth, not by which charts you may look at
    • NewRevenue attribution — which channels actually make you money, session by session, once a payment connection is switched on (Pro and up)
    • NewWhite-label share links on Growth — share a report under your own name, no Coruve badge
    • BetterStarter now includes the daily Brief, engagement maps, and the AI quality layer
    • BetterSegments carry through every Explore view — build a filter once and read the whole dashboard through it
    • ImprovedCheckout shows your price and your country's tax separately, before you pay — no flat made-up totals
    • ImprovedEvery email Coruve sends now wears the product's own colors
    • FixedThe contact form, the traffic checker, and login's bot check could reject a submission even after the check passed — fixed on all four forms
  3. The analyst update

Findings grew into case files: cause, a drafted fix, and — once you ship — verification against your own before/after data. Chat tools wait for questions; Coruve works the case.

    • NewCase files on the Brief — every finding carries its probable cause and a drafted fix, ready to hand to whoever ships
    • NewVerified fixes — mark a case fixed and Coruve compares the week after against the week before, then closes it with the numbers
    • NewImpact ledger — a running record of every closed case with its measured recovery
    • NewBeing investigated — open hypotheses with evidence meters, so you see the analyst working before it pings you
    • NewFrustration report — rage clicks, dead clicks, and quick exits per page, with the exact control that's failing
    • NewJourney flow — a clickable flow diagram of where visitors go and what led them anywhere, forwards and backwards
    • BetterEvents review queue — approve, rename, or merge the AI-suggested names; every report uses your wording
    • BetterBigger charts everywhere — y-axis scales, point markers, and hover tooltips with previous-period and 7-day-average context
  4. Complete core analytics

Every report a small team needs to understand acquisition, behavior, and conversion — with AI woven in where it saves you work.

    • NewAcquisition reports — traffic channels, top referrers, and UTM campaigns
    • NewSessions & devices — bounce rate, session duration, entry and exit pages, browsers, devices
    • NewGoals with retroactive history — define a goal today and instantly see its full past
    • NewRealtime view — who is on your site right now, with live pages, sources, and events
    • NewAI Traffic report — how many visitors arrive via ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other assistants, with AI-crawler vs. human detection
    • NewAI event labeling — captured events get clean names and smart categories automatically; you stay in control and approve them
    • NewCSV export on every report
    • FixedThe documented window.Coruve browser API now works exactly as described
    • DocsDeveloper docs rebuilt from the actual code — quick start, autocapture reference, custom events, and the server-side ingestion API
  5. Trust & security foundation

Coruve's founding core — funnels, retention, and plain-English insights — hardened with the privacy and security groundwork everything else builds on.

    • NewCookieless tracking with daily-rotating identifiers — accurate sessions without consent banners
    • NewFunnels, retention cohorts, and pattern insights — the founding product core
    • NewFour transparent plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Growth) with honest limits — ingestion pauses at your cap, no surprise charges
    • ImprovedAccount protection — bot detection on sign-up, login lockout, and rate limiting
    • ImprovedEmail verification with redesigned, on-brand transactional emails
    • PrivacyNo cookies, no raw IP storage, no personal data in events — verified against the shipped tracker bundle
